Zero discrimination day 2014
Zero discrimination day 2014 is a call to people everywhere to promote and celebrate each and everyone's right to live a full life with dignity, and this puts in perspective the work being done to provide health care in some of the world's poorest countries.
Access to good quality health care is limited, and whererever available, it is often inequitable. This leaves individuals in a vicious cycle of poverty and disease, with stigmatisation at times serving to further push them to the margins of society.
Let Zero discrimination day be our encouragement to contribute what we can to improving health care provision for these individuals in a thoughtful and sustainable way, and that takes their rights as fellow human beings into consideration.comments powered by Disqus
